This is a chronological survey of the major world civilizations, giving an overall view of the culture, including but not limited to achievements, politics, social forces, governments, and the reasons for their rise and decline.  Some major civilizations include, but are not limited to the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Aztecs, and Incas. This is a continuation of HIST 1110 chronological survey of the major world civilizations, giving an overall view of the culture, including but not limited to achievements, politics, social forces, governments, and the reasons for their rise and decline. (Previously known as HST 111)

A survey of American history from the Age of Discovery through the Civil War and Reconstruction. Emphasis is on the political, economic, cultural, social, and technological issues that arise in the development of the American nation. (Previously known as HST 205)

 

HIST 2020 AMERICAN HISTORY II (3)

A survey of American history from the end of the Civil War era to the present. Emphasis is on the political, economic, cultural, social, and technological issues that arise in America’s development as a global power. (Previously known as HST 206)
